Where Every Stitch Has a Story
Every good story starts with a single stitchβor in my case, a single, quiet evening with a ball of yarn and a crochet hook.
I didnβt plan to start a business. Honestly, I didnβt even plan to sell anything. I just loved to crochet. There was something almost magical about watching a simple thread turn into something soft, something useful, something that felt like a small piece of home. It started as my winding-down ritual after long days. Just me, my yarn, and a lot of loops.
Then, on a random Tuesday, I made an Instagram page. No big launch,
no strategy. Just a few photos of the things I'd made. I figured maybe
my mom would like them.
But then my friend messaged me. "Can you make one for me?"
"That first order? I was nervous. Excited. Probably re-did the same
row three times. But when I handed it over and saw her face light up,
something clicked inside me."
And then came the review. Her words weren't fancy, just something like
"I absolutely love it", but I felt this burst of joy
I hadn't expected. Someone loved something my hands had made.
That feeling? I wanted more of it.
So here we are.
The name The Folds came from that exact feeling. Because when you think
about it, a thread is just a thread. It's nothing special on its own.
But when you fold it, loop it, twist it with care and patience and a
little bit of love β you can turn it into something beautiful.
π A blanket that holds memories.
π A scarf that feels like a hug.
π A gift that says "I thought of you."
That's what this little space is about. Not mass production. Not
perfection. Just simple, thoughtful crochet, folded into shape with
my own two hands and a whole lot of heart.
Thank you for being here. Whether you're buying for yourself or someone
you love, know that every piece is made slowly, carefully, and with the
same quiet joy I felt making that very first order.
Welcome to The Folds.
